Blu-ray Light Color--to choose with carefulness

Recently, the researchers from Antwerp, Belgium announce that even LED is a novel product in lighting, but the Blu-ray released from the LED products might have the possibility to bring passive effect on the oil paintings. As the Blu-ray can react with the color yellow that is used in the paintings, thus changing the original images.

LED colors are available on various ranges. Among them, people have the option of blue or Blu-ray more exactly, especially for MR16 Glass Cup or LED Strip or automobile lamps. Blu-ray, is not the color blue, but is referred to the wave length from 400~500nm high energy visible light. Blu-ray can penetrate through the lens of people’s eyes and reach the retina inside the eyes, thus cause the optical damage, or even accelerated the oxidation of the cells in the macular area.

While choosing the color for decorations, Blu-ray should be selected with great care, especially when we are using it for home and it should be kept away from kids; or for those places that are sensitive about light affect.

Normally we have two major options for our daily usage in lights: warm white and cool white. In warm white, there is more of the red ray, while in cool white; there is more of the Blu-ray. So for some cozy occasions, warm white can bring more comfortable feelings to people’s sight. For a candle, its light is around 2000K, for an incandescent lamp 3000K, for the morning sunshine around 4400K, while the light jumps to around 5600K at noon. For us, our human body needs different lights in a day, and our body clock also follows the rule. So how to suit our body best is one of the key factors while we are choosing the lights for our home or even working environments.

Light can bring us colorful life, and let’s make it colorful as long as possible, where we can always see in eyes but safe in hands.
